Our very own Anuar Seleman (2011) has been selected for the inaugural Tanzania U13 national team, a milestone achievement under FIFA’s Talent Development Scheme (TDS).

Satino School kicked off the new term with excitement as students returned after a month-long break. We welcomed 10 new students and anticipate 30 by March. Volunteers from France, Germany, and Canada enriched our community, assisting in classrooms and fostering cultural exchange. Exciting weeks lie ahead!

This month, SATINO proudly celebrated the graduation of 8 remarkable students in a joyous event filled with performances, a fashion show, and community festivities. With new students joining us in 2025, your continued support helps transform lives through education.

Dominik from Switzerland and Nico from Italy have been volunteering at SATINO Daycare & Preschool in Arusha, Tanzania, where 60 children rely on school meals as their main source of nutrition. Keeping up with food supplies is a constant challenge, so we’re raising funds to build a chicken coop. This will provide fresh eggs for the kids and create a sustainable food source, reducing the school’s reliance on outside donations. Your support will help fund the coop’s construction and cover feeding expenses while we work toward self-sufficiency.

Satino Daycare had the distinct honor of participating in the 21st graduation ceremony at Sinoni Secondary School, an event that highlighted the community’s commitment to education and collaboration. The ceremony celebrated not only the students’ academic achievements but also the broader goal of combating ignorance through learning.

SATINO Football Academy has achieved a groundbreaking milestone with the establishment of its inaugural girls’ football team. This new team, known as the SATINO Queens, represents a major advancement in the academy’s mission to foster gender equality in sports. Launched in early 2022 with just a few players, the squad has recently rapidly expanded to include 24 dedicated young athletes.

SATINO Launches “Sponsor a Child” Program to Support Education in Tanzania

SATINO is excited to announce the launch of its “Sponsor a Child” program, aimed at providing essential education to children in Tanzania who otherwise would not have the opportunity to attend school. This initiative invites supporters to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in need by contributing just $9 per month. Through this program, SATINO hopes to ensure that every child in its care receives the education they deserve, despite financial barriers.

SATINO recently visited Sinon Secondary School to educate students about the role and impact of NGOs, led by our director Augustino, an alumnus of the school. During our engaging talk, students learned about various aspects of NGOs, and a request for footballs led to a prompt donation of 10 footballs and fifteen captain’s armbands. We emphasized the importance of women’s football to inspire girls to participate in sports, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.

Last Saturday, SATINO celebrated the return to school after a month-long vacation with a vibrant and joyful event. The day was filled with inspiring speeches, delicious food, a delightful fashion show, and lively music and dancing. The community came together to highlight the importance of quality education and enjoy the festivities.
